Troubleshooting tools

If a build you installed is failing, use the download for your platform. The tool collects Qie logs and system information into a ZIP on your Desktop, then optionally walks you through removing Qie. Nothing is deleted unless you confirm. On Windows, Program Files removal may require running the script as administrator.

Each download includes README.txt with step-by-step instructions.

macOS: unzip, follow README.txt (chmod +x, then right-click → Open to bypass Gatekeeper), then run Qie_SupportBundle_Mac.command.

Windows: unzip, keep Qie_SupportBundle_Win.bat and Qie_SupportBundle_Win.ps1 together in the same folder, then double-click the .bat.

Each zip also includes a standalone uninstaller (Qie_Uninstaller_Mac.command or Qie_Uninstaller.bat) if you only need to remove the app without collecting diagnostics. On Windows, right-click the .bat and choose Run as administrator so Program Files can be removed.
